Success in TUBITAK-MSIT-NRF (South Korea) Collaborative Project at Our University

Our faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özal YILDIRIM, as a researcher, has been awarded support within the framework of the existing cooperation protocol between the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) and the National Research Foundation of South Korea (NRF) for the project titled 'Explainable Hybrid Artificial Intelligence Workflow for Lumbar Spinal Stenosis Prediction in MRI Images.'

During the project, researchers from Fırat University and İnönü University in Turkey, along with researchers from Sejong University in South Korea, will collaborate on the development of explainable artificial intelligence models for the diagnosis of Lumbar Spinal Stenosis from MRI images.

Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Fahrettin GÖKTAŞ, who showed close interest in the project, congratulated the researchers by posting a message on social media.

The team of the project, with a budget of approximately 3.5 million TL, includes researchers from different disciplines:
