Are you ready to be a part-time researcher in the R&D laboratories established by the Turkish Aerospace and Space Industry in universities within the scope of the cooperation protocol between the Turkish Aerospace and Space Industry and the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) in your master's and doctoral scientific research studies in the field of aviation and space?

LIFT UP + is our scientific research program where you can conduct your master's or doctoral studies in the qualified R&D laboratories opened at relevant universities within the cooperation protocol between the Turkish Aerospace and Space Industry and YÖK in the field of aviation and space.

In this context, while conducting research activities in the field of aviation and space, you will also be responsible for coordinating the relevant R&D laboratories as a part-time employee in the Turkish Aerospace and Space Industry.

*Researchers who will work part-time in the R&D laboratories will be selected according to the Turkish Aerospace and Space Industry's recruitment criteria and will carry out their master's and doctoral studies in the field of aviation and space. Part-time researchers working in each R&D laboratory will be allowed to select their master's or doctoral thesis topics related to the aviation sector in coordination with their advisors. Assistance will be provided in choosing the topic if desired by the researcher.

Application Criteria

• Being a Turkish citizen, • Continuing postgraduate education in the following departments of universities where R&D laboratories are located:

• Not having submitted a thesis proposal in the thesis phase, • Having a GPA of 2.85 (out of 4) and above, • Not working in any institution, • Being able to work part-time in the R&D laboratories of the Turkish Aerospace and Space Industry for at least 2 days a week

Criteria that can Increase Your Evaluation Score

• Being the first, second, or third in the department • Working as a researcher or scholarship holder for 2 years or more in projects organized by TÜBİTAK, the Ministry of Industry and Technology, or the European Union • Having an article published in SCI, SCI Exp., SSCI, A&HCI indexes in the relevant field • Achieving first, second, or third place in national/international competitions in similar fields, especially aviation and space technologies • Having an ALES score of 90 or above in the last 5 years in the specific field • Completing a double major program

Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensuring the effective operation of the laboratory in coordination with the academic coordinator, organizing the coordination of the studies conducted in the laboratories, and ensuring that the students conducting undergraduate and postgraduate activities in the laboratory work collaboratively • Being responsible for the use of the High-Performance Computing (HPC) system

o HPC System Management: Participating in troubleshooting and maintenance activities to ensure the smooth operation of the HPC system o User Support: Providing technical support to HPC system users, guiding users to effectively use the resources of the HPC system, and answering their questions o Security and Data Integrity: Taking necessary measures for the security of the HPC system, implementing appropriate security protocols to protect data integrity and privacy

• Maintaining active communication with the Turkish Aerospace and Space Industry University Relations Directorate
