Quality and Accreditation Committee

Purpose

The Quality and Accreditation Committee is responsible for ensuring the continuous improvement of the department’s educational, research, and administrative processes, effectively implementing the quality assurance system, and contributing to national and international accreditation processes.

Duties and Responsibilities

Establishment of a Quality Assurance System:

To develop strategies and monitor implementations that foster a culture of quality and ensure the effective operation of the quality assurance system within the department.

Preparation of Internal Evaluation Reports:

To prepare annual internal evaluation reports, monitor departmental activities, and develop suggestions for improvement.

Monitoring of Educational Processes:

To regularly review the quality of education by evaluating curriculum, course content, teaching methods, and student feedback.

Collecting Stakeholder Feedback:

To gather and incorporate the opinions of students, alumni, academic staff, and industry representatives into educational improvement processes.

Accreditation Preparation:

To follow the requirements of national and international accreditation bodies, collect the necessary documents and evidence, and prepare self-evaluation reports.

Coordination with the University Quality Committee:

To work in alignment with the university’s quality committee and integrate departmental quality activities with institutional goals.

Tracking Improvement Activities:

To develop action plans to address identified deficiencies, monitor their implementation, and evaluate outcomes.

Documentation and Archiving:

To ensure proper documentation and systematic archiving of all materials related to quality and accreditation processes.
