Industry on Campus Committee

Purpose

The Industry on Campus Committee coordinates the planning and execution of sectoral activities to strengthen university–industry cooperation, provide students with direct interaction with industry representatives, support their professional development, and increase their employability.

Duties and Responsibilities

Interaction with Industry Representatives:

To build partnerships with public institutions, private companies, and NGOs in relevant fields and facilitate mutual knowledge and experience exchange with students.

Organization of Events:

To organize conferences, talks, panels, and workshops under the scope of “Industry on Campus Meetings,” offering students opportunities to explore various industries.

Mentorship and Experience Sharing:

To encourage experienced professionals from the industry to engage with students through mentorship and career guidance activities.

Promotion of Job/Internship Opportunities:

To facilitate the announcement of internship, part-time job, and post-graduation career opportunities to students through industry representatives.

Field Visits and Technical Trips:

To plan and carry out business/factory visits and technical tours that foster direct interaction between students and the industry.

Stakeholder Feedback:

To evaluate feedback received from industry partners after collaborations and relate it to the department’s curriculum and practices.

Promotion and Communication:

To promote all Industry on Campus activities and ensure their visibility through the department’s website and social media platforms.
