The MÜDEK Program Committee operates to ensure that the undergraduate program complies with the criteria set by the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Engineering Programs (MÜDEK), to implement continuous improvement processes, and to coordinate all preparations related to the accreditation process.
Defining and Reviewing Program Outcomes:
To define the department’s educational objectives and program outcomes in line with MÜDEK standards, regularly review them, and update them based on stakeholder feedback.
Implementing Continuous Improvement Processes:
To plan and carry out continuous improvement activities aimed at enhancing educational quality based on student performance, course evaluations, alumni feedback, and employer opinions.
Establishing Assessment and Evaluation Systems:
To develop and apply the necessary assessment tools to monitor the extent to which program outcomes are being achieved.
Preparing MÜDEK Documentation:
To coordinate the preparation of all documents required for MÜDEK accreditation, including self-study reports (SSR), course files, curriculum matrices, and supporting materials.
Stakeholder Engagement:
To engage with internal (students, faculty) and external (alumni, employers, industry representatives) stakeholders through regular meetings and surveys, and incorporate their feedback into program development processes.
Preparing for the Site Visit:
To manage all academic and administrative preparations prior to the MÜDEK evaluation team’s visit and ensure effective communication and presentation during the visit.
Quality Assurance and Reporting:
To ensure that educational processes are aligned with the quality assurance system and to report all MÜDEK-related activities to the department board and the quality committee.
