Internationalization and Bilateral Cooperation Committee

Purpose

The Internationalization and Bilateral Cooperation Committee works to increase the department’s international visibility, promote student and academic staff exchanges, support programs conducted in foreign languages, and enhance academic collaboration with international institutions.

Duties and Responsibilities

International Student Mobility:

To manage academic advising, course selection, and departmental placement processes for incoming and outgoing students participating in Erasmus+, Mevlana, and other exchange programs.

Promoting Faculty Exchange:

To encourage and inform faculty members about opportunities to teach, conduct joint research, or take on short-term assignments abroad.

Developing Bilateral Agreements:

To establish new bilateral cooperation protocols with international universities, monitor the effectiveness of existing agreements, and strengthen academic partnerships that benefit the department.

Communication with International Students:

To coordinate the orientation, academic follow-up, and support services needed by international students studying in the department.

Participation in International Events and Representation:

To contribute to the preparation of academic and promotional materials for representing the department at international conferences, seminars, and education fairs.

Promotion and Information Sharing:

To prepare or update brochures, website content, and social media announcements that contribute to the department’s international outreach and visibility.
