The Education and Instruction Committee is responsible for coordinating the planning, execution, evaluation, and continuous improvement of undergraduate and graduate educational activities within the department.
Updating Curriculum Plans:
To ensure that the department’s curriculum is updated in line with evolving academic and sectoral needs, including revising course contents and developing instructional plans.
Academic Calendar and Exam Scheduling:
To coordinate the academic calendar, exam schedules, and semester-based practices for each academic year.
Quality Assurance and Accreditation Support:
To play an active role in internal and external evaluation processes aimed at improving education quality and to prepare necessary documentation and reports for accreditation efforts.
Evaluation of New Course Proposals:
To review new course proposals submitted by faculty members in terms of content, credit allocation, and program coherence, and to submit recommendations to the department board.
Course Compatibility and Conflict Checks:
To prevent scheduling conflicts in students’ course selections and ensure the preparation of harmonized course timetables.
Evaluation of Student Feedback:
To analyze student feedback and incorporate it into educational processes to promote continuous development.
Advising and Academic Support:
To support the effective implementation of academic advising processes to assist students in their academic progress.
End-of-Semester Evaluations:
To conduct a general assessment of educational activities at the end of each semester and to propose solutions for any identified deficiencies.
