The Applied Engineering Education and Professional Practice Committee aims to plan, implement, and evaluate practical training processes that enhance students’ professional knowledge and skills. It also works to strengthen university–industry cooperation through sector-based applications.
Planning of Practical Training Processes:
To coordinate the planning of applied courses, laboratory work, project-based learning activities, and technical visits as part of the engineering curriculum.
Monitoring Internship and Workplace Training:
To follow up on students’ compulsory internships, workplace training, and industrial placements; to communicate with organizations and assist in identifying suitable professional environments.
Industry and Field Collaborations:
To promote university–industry cooperation by organizing fieldwork, seminars, factory visits, and project partnerships that provide students with practical experience.
Enhancing Professional Competencies:
To organize activities that raise awareness of ethics, safety, quality, and professional responsibility in engineering practice.
Performance and Compliance Evaluations:
To evaluate students’ performance during workplace training and professional practice; to collect feedback from employers/organizations and use it to continuously improve the process.
Reporting and Documentation:
To assess student reports related to practical training and ensure proper archiving of required documents (e.g., internship files, evaluation forms).
Coordination with Department and Faculty:
To work in coordination with relevant faculty units to ensure compliance with practical training regulations and manage official correspondence.
