The R&D Monitoring and Development Committee works to monitor research and development activities within the department, promote scientific productivity among faculty and students, improve research quality, and increase the number of externally funded projects.
Monitoring R&D Activities:
To monitor, document, and evaluate all research activities such as scientific projects, publications, conference papers, and patent/utility model applications within the department.
Supporting Project Development:
To inform faculty members about external funding opportunities such as TÜBİTAK, BAP, and EU projects, and to provide guidance throughout project preparation phases.
Encouraging Student Participation:
To support the active involvement of undergraduate and graduate students in research projects, and to promote research-based approaches in capstone and thesis work.
Improving Publication Quality:
To increase the number of publications in national and international peer-reviewed journals, monitor citation performance, and support faculty members’ publishing efforts.
Academic Performance Reporting:
To prepare annual academic performance reports for the department and evaluate the alignment of R&D outputs with departmental strategic goals.
Developing Collaborations:
To encourage joint R&D projects with other academic units, research centers, industry partners, and public institutions.
Organizing Events and Training Sessions:
To strengthen the research culture in the department by organizing project writing workshops, seminars, and research methodology training.

To analyze existing R&D processes and propose improvements to enhance efficiency and sustainabil
