The Turkish Education Foundation (TEV) will provide a monthly university education scholarship of 4,500 TL. Applications for the 2024-2025 academic year TEV University Scholarship will be accepted between September 16 - October 11, 2024, through the Obigenc mobile application, which can be downloaded for free from Google Play and the App Store. APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS  

• Must be a citizen of the Republic of Turkey.  
• Must be in need of financial support based on property and income status.
• Must begin studies this year based on the YKS exam results.
• For students completing a preparatory class, they must have successfully passed to the next class.
• For continuing students, a minimum GPA of 2.40/4.00 (62/100) is required.
• For those placed through the DGS exam, a minimum associate degree GPA of 2.80/4.00 (71/100) is required.

INELIGIBLE CANDIDATES

• Students of private (foundation) universities.
• Students enrolled in open education/distance education programs.
• Students over the age of 25.
• Students receiving scholarships from another institution (excluding repayable KYK loans).
• Students enrolled in paid or exchange program courses.
• Students with criminal convictions.
• Students whose siblings are already receiving a scholarship from TEV.

SCHOLARSHIP PAYMENT

• The first payment to scholarship recipients will be made in a lump sum at the latest during the last week of December, retroactive to October. Subsequent payments will be made monthly.
• Scholarships are paid for nine months, from October to June. No payments are made in July, August, and September.

CONTINUATION OF THE SCHOLARSHIP

• Scholarships will continue throughout the student’s university education, provided that they pass their classes and maintain a GPA of at least 2.40/4.00 (62/100).
